Hey there, I’m Jiggeh. 30-something video game enthusiast, collector, artist, nerd, etc. I’m an on-again-off-again professional game artist; I spent several years teaching 3D art and game development, and I’m currently leading a software development team and doing mobile-focused 3D art for a living. I am looking for new opportunities in game art and development, so if you happen to be looking for someone, please do get in touch!
In my free time I like to collect and play old video games, primarily Japanese console and arcade games from the 80’s and 90’s, but I’ve played and been into all kinds of different types of games over the years. I always enjoying widening my horizons, playing and learning about new (and old!) stuff.
One of my hobbies is streaming games on Twitch. It gives me a good excuse to actually dig out and play a lot of games from my collection that would otherwise just sit and gather dust on a shelf, and chatting with my viewers about the games I’m playing has kind of forced me to verbalize my thoughts on all kinds of games. It turns out I really enjoy thinking and talking about games, so after a bunch of hemming and hawing, I decided to start this blog as a centralized place for the kind of stream-of-consciousness rants about games I’ve played, that might otherwise get lost in the deep mists of Twitter.
